The observed behaviors stem from brain function rather than deliberate misconduct. The brain's executive function system operates at maximum capacity, which leads to these behavioral indicators.

Learning difficulties stem from ADHD because of how the brain operates

The brain systems responsible for self-management in ADHD include attention control, working memory, time awareness, and behavioral inhibition. Students with weaker executive function abilities must constantly play a game of catch-up when they attend school.
